Before Appointment

Pre-Appointment Restrictions

The following restrictions are to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for an amazing semi-permanent makeup procedure. Please read carefully:

No need to wax or thread your brows. We like to work with as much of your natural shape as possible.

Please do not work out the day of the procedure as the body heat will expand the pores.

Avoid heavy sunlight and especially sunburn 3 days before procedure. Skin should not be in process of healing before procedure!

Do NOT drink coffee or anything with caffeine the day of procedure.

Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, omega-3, unless medically necessary, 48-72 hours prior to the procedure. (Tylenol or acetaminophen is okay!)

Do NOT drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure.

The following treatments should be avoided within four weeks of the procedure:

  • Botox or other fillers
  • Chemical Peels
  • Laser treatments

It is recommended that you secure a prescription for Valtrex (or similar) if you have a history of cold sore / fever blisters / herpes and to take the medication 3 days prior to your appointment and for 3 days following your appointment even if you haven't experienced a flare-up in recent years. This measure is meant to be proactive to avoid a flare-up.

COLORLAB’S CANCELLATION POLICY

A debit or credit card is required to reserve an appointment and will be charged at least 50% of the cost of the service to reserve your selected appointment date and time. This deposit is non-refundable but is transferable should you provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Anything less than 24 hours notice will be subject to forfeiture of the deposit.

Training/ Academy deposits vary depending on the class and are non-refundable but transferable up to one time before forfeiting 100% of the deposit.

COLORLAB’S LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

While we understand life happens, we are only able to give a 15 minute grace period should you be running late, and your service time will be reduced by 15 minutes where possible. Please understand we must be respectful of our other clients’ time, as well as, our own personal time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late will be considered a no-show and you will be subject to our cancellation policy above. Thank you for your understanding.

NO CHILDREN OR ADDITIONAL GUESTS ALLOWED DURING YOUR APPOINTMENTS

Our goal is to always provide a peaceful, loving environment, so please adhere to the no children or additional guests guidelines, as we must strictly enforce this to ensure the tranquility of our boutique spa space for all guests receiving services. Any client’s not adhering to this request will forfeit their deposit and will not be serviced. No exceptions.
