DESCRIPTION

Old eyebrow tattoos, Microblading, Scalp Micropigmentation, and some very small regular tattoos can be lightened using the non-laser specially formulated saline system, Botched Ink.

Expect to need at least 2-3 sessions with each session happening at 8 week intervals. If any additional sessions are required, the timeframe will be 12 weeks in between sessions to allow the skin cells time to heal and turnover.

Healing skin does scab and peel over the course of several days, so we do NOT recommend booking removal prior to major events, travel or meetings. Expect approximately 2 weeks of healing where scabbing and peeling will occur.

**PLEASE NOTE: Prior to your artist performing this service, you will be asked to complete a digital medical history and service consent form, and upload a picture of your government issued ID with your date of birth (ID is required for ALL clients receiving this service per New York City Health Department regulations). DESCRIPTION

For those with freshly created eyebrows, we can effectively remove pigment within the first 48 hours of when they were created.

The removal appointment is approximately 60 minutes.

Healing is approximately 2 weeks with the scabbing and peeling process. Skin should be completely healed at 4 weeks and ready for another session at 8 weeks. 

We cannot say with absolute certainty, but prepare for at least 3.

Please DO NOT consume alcohol 24 hours before your appointment and NO caffeine the day of your appointment.

  • Day of your appointment: Your brows will be red and a little sore, so please be sure not to touch them.
  • ***NEVER PICK YOUR SCABS!!! DO NOT WASH YOUR EYEBROWS.***
  • First 48 hours: your skin is like slightly red and may begin to feel dry to the touch
  • DO NOT TOUCH YOUR BROWS. Do not get them wet or apply any products to your brows.
  • After 48 hours:
  • Apply a thin layer of Cavilon barrier cream on the scab with a cotton swab. This will last 3 to 4 days, so NO NEED TO APPLY DAILY.
  • ***SKIN PRONE TO HYPERPIGMENTATION:
  • Apply a thin layer of Cavilon barrier cream every other day to reduce the chances of hyperpigmentation.
  • You still cannot submerge your face in water, but if the brows get slightly wet in the shower, it’s not a big deal. Simply pay the brows dry with a paper towel free of lint.

We use Botched Ink for our removal services. Should you require a copy of the MSDS, we can provide that to you by request.

How To Prepare For Your Appointment

  • No alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment
  • No caffeine the day of your appointment (coffee, tea, colas)

COLOR LAB NYC’S CANCELLATION POLICY

A debit or credit card is required to reserve an appointment and will be charged at least 50% of the cost of the service to reserve your selected appointment date and time. This deposit is non-refundable but is transferable should you provide at least 48 hours notice for cancellations. Anything less than 48 hours notice will be subject to forfeiture of the deposit. Training/ Academy deposits vary depending on the class and are non-refundable but transferable up to one time before forfeiting 100% of the deposit.

COLOR LAB NYC’S LATE ARRIVAL POLICY

While we understand life happens, we are only able to give a 15 minute grace period should you be running late, and your service time will be reduced by 15 minutes where possible. Please understand we must be respectful of our other clients’ time, as well as, our own personal time. Arriving more than 15 minutes late will be considered a no-show and you will be subject to our cancellation policy above. Thank you for your understanding.

NO CHILDREN OR ADDITIONAL GUESTS ALLOWED DURING YOUR APPOINTMENTS

Our goal is to always provide a peaceful, loving environment, so please adhere to the no children or additional guests guidelines, as we must strictly enforce this to ensure the tranquility of our boutique spa space for all guests receiving services. Any client’s not adhering to this request will forfeit their deposit and will not be serviced. No exceptions.
